Okay....well. Life's been kinda hectic lately, work's started so i now don't get to sleep till about 4 in the morning. Class is hard to get to because Rob's van is out of commission for good now and so now we're out of a reliable ride. It's hard to go to school and work when a bus won't get you back from school in time to get to work. So, yeah. that's been kinda sucky. My creativity's been kinda shot lately, too. I haven't been drawing almost at all. Good news is that I'll finally be able to be DM of a D&D campaign. Bad news is that it's in 3.5. Yes, I've been converted to the awesomes of 2.0, but I still like the art that Wizards of the Coast has for the manuals and such. However, I will NEVER play 4.0, it's just a money scam and takes out what D&D was for: creativity and imagination with your friends in your basement or garage (we play in the garage, we have no basement). The last creative thing I did was make a sign for the garage door that has a dragon on it and labels the garage the "Dragon's Tomb" (taken from the D&D song I most recently heard sung by Steven Lynch and his guys). I'm thinking I should take a picture of it and post it sometime, but that'll have to wait a little while.

So, our campaign group is setting up a smallish "corporation" which really is just more of an excuse to set money aside for D&D stuff. The problem is, there's no CEO or President or the like, everyone but though. We've got a treasurer (Rob, aka "The Hebrew Hammer"), a minutes keeper (Me, Crystal, aka "Moneypenny"), a PR/HR guy (Austin, aka "The Miscommunicator"), a bouncer/caterer (Jeff aka "JellyBelly"), and a conditional marketing advertiser (Paul, aka "The Temp" (at least until he proves himself otherwise))

btw, we're not a racist group, Rob actually is Hebrew in heritage and is very VERY conservative with his money. The kind of guy that will pick the penny up off the street and glare at anyone who says anything about it, joking or not.

arguments on religion.....yikes!

So, I was playing World of Warcraft today, and I was in Goldshire turning a quest it, and I asked in General Chat if there was a flight path in Goldshire or if I was just hallucinating, because it was very late, and I'm still not used to Alliance territory. So someone told me no there wasn't, but someone else whispered me that I was a !@#$!@en moron. I whispered back and said, no, I'm just not used to Alliance territory because I like the Horde more. I also said that I've kinda been hallucinating lately, (because of my crazy work schedule, getting less sleep and basically dreaming throughout the day....your mind does funny things on little sleep). He whispered me and said that he reported me, I asked why, he said "for drugs," To my knowledge you can't report someone for that, and it doesn't matter because I don't do drugs, and I never will. I told him this and then the bashing began, first he started talking about how he was Muslim and that I should die because I'm an infidel. I'm not one to hate religions, and I told him that, even though it kinda freaked me out that I was marked for death in his book. I told him that even if I died, I'd still care about him (not in any romantical sense, but I wouldn't hate him). I put him on my friend's list before he started bashing me, but I'm just that kind of person. I consider people I just meet to be my friend. I'm just like that. Especially on World of Warcraft. But, by the end of it, he had been bashing my intelligence and my religion. All I wanted to do was to give him the facts about my religion once he started to bash it, because I never want people to be misinformed about things like that...it causes unnecessary hate. But, anyway. My friends saw some of the argument and told me to report it, because apparently you're not supposed to be doing things like that on WoW, but I didn't know that. I wasn't trying to bash his beliefs, I was just trying to give him the correct information on all the things he had wrong about my church. But, apparently, he won't listen to what an infidel has to say, plus I live in America so I get to die for that too.... Why are people so closed minded and hating like that? I don't understand it. He hates so many people and thinks they should die because they aren't Muslim...but why? Why is not being Muslim so wrong that I have to die because of it?

reality?

So, I've been off on my random raids and rants about what makes up reality lately. I've come to the current conclusion that reality is just your set of norms that come against another person's set of norms, and then compared to the majority's set of norms. If yours matches with the other person's, you agree on things, if it also matches with the majority, that's what reality is. However, it does not apply to certain concepts, such as religion. The majority of people believe in a god, I don't care which god, just believe that there is one, no matter what the name is, yet, it is not counted as reality that there is a god, probably because it would piss off atheists and the like, and we're afraid to piss off ANYONE in America. I'm not sure why, maybe we're afraid that they're going to bomb us if we piss them off. lol. Anyway... (^"^)(>">;)(v"v) [if you have no idea what that means, read XXXholic by CLAMP] back to the topic of reality and what makes it so. I believe that reality is based of what you are taught. If you are taught that the color of the sky is red, then reality to you is that the color of the sky is red, and anything that is around the same color as the sky is, in fact, the color red to you. If everyone on the planet was insane and had hallucinations, would that make the hallucinations reality? No. Unless, the majority of the hallucinations were exactly the same, which is next to impossible. At that point, I believe that what reality was would disappear and there would be no more reality, because there would be no majority to base it off of.

Thank you for reading this rant, now go comment on my lunacy...
